Swinney all day. He knows how to win championships in his conference and he knows how to get to the big game.

They're a lot alike. I guess I'd take Dabo for being a Bama guy.

I think the two are very comparable, except Hugh's rise has been faster. Dabo was recruiting lights out when he took over but couldn't do better than 8-5 in a really bad ACC for several years. Then he hired Chad Morris.

Swinney even though he bugs the hell out of me. He has built a nice successful program at Clemson.

If that's your criteria, I guess you gotta go with Hugh.

Dabo's last 5 years
56-12 (34-6)
5 straight 10 win seasons
2 ACC Titles, 3 Division Titles
3 BCS Game/Playoff Appearances
1 National Runner-Up

Wins over : Oklahoma (2x), Notre Dame, Florida State, Auburn (2x), Ohio State, LSU, Georgia

Ole Miss probably sleep walks to an 8-0 record in the ACC last year. Still loses to Memphis though

I do agree with this

Sure, but he also hired Venables, and then he went to the National Championship game with Jeff Scott and Tony Elliot running his offense.

It's close but I think I would take Freeze. Clemson is a better program than OM and are in a much easier conference/division.

Hiring Chad was the turning point in his tenure though. He took Clemson to the next level. Venables is a good DC but Morris and Tahj Boyd got them there.

Sure, it was a great hire. It kind of gave their program their own philosophical image.

I think Morris took them to a Top 10-15 level and Venables took them to a Top 5 level. Venables has managed to have a tough, fast, elite defense with a hyper fast offense. He is one of, if not the only, defensive coach I have seen do that.

But with all that, the program is clearly Swinney's. He has created a culture there that is impressive. I also think Clemson is the perfect spot for him. I'm not sure he would work at Alabama or Texas or Michigan.

Waiting for influx of South Carolina fans to get really, really, really mad at all of us.

Freeze. He is the OC and knows his Offense. Dabo has made some good hires, but all it would take is one bad hire. Plus, it is easier to recruit the Eastern Coastal States while at Clemson, than to recruit the Gulf Coast States while at Ole Miss.

This can't be legit? Of course Dabo.
