Even more impressive when you throw in the fact that Alabama from 09-12, Alabama was 6-0 vs opponents in the post-season that finished with a combined 74-8 record. Alabama's average margin of victory in those games: 35.5- 13.8.
Alabama is since then 4-2 in the post season, with losses coming to Ohio State and Oklahoma.

1. Auburn 2014 - the win that propelled State to #1
2. LSU 2014 - broke the LSU streak, started a 9 week long party in Starkville
3. Florida 2010 - wasn't the best Florida team, but MSU winning in the Swamp was special.
4. Michigan 2010 - skull dragging a blue blood in a New Years Day bowl game is always fun.
5. Texas A&M 2014 - the forgettable sandwich game of three straight top 10 victories in 2014.
Four more what could have been games:
1. Alabama 2014 - would have been the biggest win in school history by far. Lost 25-20.
2. Ole Miss 2014 - Arguably would have put MSU in the College Football Playoff instead of Ohio State.
3. LSU 2015 - That 21-19 loss stung. Cost MSU back to back 10-win seasons.
4. Arkansas 2010 - best game I have ever seen MSU play that resulted in a loss.
