He was talking about coaches who left or jumped ship for better jobs, hence indicating that there were issues that made Wisconsin unattractive. You are talking about coaches who were fired for lack of performance or other issues. Two completely different things.

Wisconsin must have some serious internal problems considering their last two football coaches have left for Oregon State and Arkansas

Literally zero people on here saw it coming

So Bert making a lateral move at best and the guy who followed him taking an inferior job is the same as asking Pat Dye to resign after his team was put on probation and asking Tommy Tuberville to resign after he won 1 conference championship in 10 years.
I know one conference championship is a lot to a school that hasnt won one since college football was played by only white people, but it is not necessarily a lot for other schools

They had to rush to find a coach after the Gus Bus told them to frick off.

No wonder Bert left Wisconsin for Fayettetrash--you baconback fatties are content with two conference wins a season.

you're an imbecile if you think we'll be content going forward with 2 conf wins a season.
we have improved, the whole psyche of the program seems to have improved, i like the way he handles the players and keeps them in line so yes i stand with 'good'.
not sure what your prob is- i see your shitty little posts all over about bert.
oh and i would guarantee that fayetteville is way less trashy than wherever your skank arse resides.

Gus was hired by Auburn right after Arkansas made their announcement. Looks like Arkansas made the right decision.

Nope...I was convinced we were getting Gundy. I really wasn't happy about that

Bert left for the same reason that his successor at Wisconsin, Gary Anderson, bolted to frickin Oregon State in the middle of the night.
Barry Alvarez is an insufferable micromanaging douchebag who doesn't know the meaning of "retired football coach"
That and he wanted no part of Urban Meyer and OSU when they got off probation.
He saw the writing on the wall and took best job available at the time, which unfortunately for him was Arkansas.
Bert was never going to get offered an elite job anyway. He was coming off a mediocre season and trending down. Nobody ever viewed him as some great coach at Wisconsin anyway. His public perception was exactly what he really was. He simply maintained the culture that Barry Alvarez set up at Wisconsin of taking giant corn fed white boys off of Midwestern farms and stacking them up in front of a heavier than normal RB, and then calling runs up the middle every down so the big boy can fall down for 5 yards every play until they get somewhere.

This is my favorite rantard talking point. "He was scared of Urban so he went to the toughest division in history where Nick Saban is in the middle of a dynasty at Bama."
