Playoffs are coming. Go Notre Dame, we need a change of the guard as it's good for college football. No real reason but to pull for the underdog.

It definitely is odd seeing so much southern support for a catholic institution, considering the South's traditional views towards the catholic church.

Dude you just said that nobody would care what I think on here. Yet you obviously had to respond. That also shows that you think your a top poster or something in that regard.

Do you forget the years when a 2-3 loss Notre Dame team would be voted higher than a 1 loss team from the South.

Yeah, still burns me up. Sometimes I lose sleep thinking about that thing not involving my team that happened 50+ years ago.

Notre Dame gave tens of millions to Holy Cross High School in New Orleans to rebuild their school after Katrina.

Do you have a link for that? I found this articles that states the flood damage insurance would cover $2 mill but the actual cost to rebuild would be $10 mill. The article shows that ND and HC have ties together but doesn't state that ND gave HC "tens of millions".

I hate to make a mean remark Georgia, but if you had a coach and QB that did'nt choke, I would be pulling for Georgia instead of Alabama.

I don't have a link, but I know. I know numerous people that went there including my father in law. I was on their campus this week talking to several people on how awesome their campus is and was told how they got the money to rebuild.

Neither or coach nor our qb "choked". If anything, our wr had a mental mistake and caught a ball he shouldn't have caught. The playcall was fine and we had the route we wanted, but the pass was tipped at the line of scrimmage.

If we did spike the ball and run the play the result would still be the same.

If UA had lost, I'd be pulling for ND simply because we have to recruit against UGA.
