Southerners pulling for Notre Dame?

That is like being from the South and pulling for Grant over Lee. Do you forget the years when a 2-3 loss Notre Dame team would be voted higher than a 1 loss team from the South. You want to see bias from the rest of the country, let ND win the NC. I'm a LSU fan but I will pull for the SEC champion, no matter who it is.God, family,country, LSU, SEC.

RIGHT! I wouldn't care if Alabama was on their 10th straight NC Game. SEC vs. Who fricking cares here.

I am cheering for ND now out of spite of a few fans of bama on here. I have no problem with nick or the team. I really like watching yeldon play. But I wish misery and retchedness on a few Gumps from the board. However it can happen is fine and hopefully it happen often

I'm Catholic and my grandfather went to Notre Dame.
That being said, I don't really care who wins. I'm not pulling for either.
Eta: I am leaning more towards Notre Dame though.

I can assure you that you and your 450 post count havent made enough of an impression here to cause anyone to give a single frick what you wish on them. Keep up your sense of self importance though, it's probably the only thing that keeps you from killing yourself on cold lonely nights.

i'm pulling for notre dame because i like them. yes, i'm catholic and have followed notre dame forever. i'm LSU and bleed purple and gold, even against the irish, but it is a no brainer for me to pull for the irish over the damn gumps, who i loathe. it is a football game, not a was that was over 150 yrs ago and grant and lee are both dead last i heard.

Let's see........... Most of Louisiana is catholic and Notre Dame is catholic. Notre Dame gave tens of millions to Holy Cross High School in New Orleans to rebuild their school after Katrina. Bama winning 3 out of 4 titles does nothing for any other SEC fan.
