Yeah, apparently it can't make up its mind when to start the turn. Some of the spaghetti lines still show a hard right and other show a left hook that brings it into Alabama, Glad I'm not in the hurricane predicting business right now.

Yea, I guess they'll figure it out a little better once it hits/avoids South Florida.

I believe the concern is the people evacuating from Florida will be traveling through SC and causing heavy traffic. 70K fans added to the mix would be problematic.

I'd think most will be taking I-75 and not get anywhere near SC unless they're headed to family/friends/vacation home.

Cute but ignorant attempted insult

If by in auburn and only auburn you really meant anywhere on planet earth on the scheduled weekend, then yes

Also the area would be affected if they going to evacuate. If the sun is shining bright on Clemson stadium Saturday and y'all are not playing then it will be an LSU/UF analogy.

I have a feeling Clemson wants to play though so they will make sure thats an option if the storm becomes a non threat.

Sunday it is supposed to be in south fla. Tuesday 2pm should be at Dollywood. (Not kidding). Just looked at the latest cone. Not going thru SC. Thru Ga into Tenn.

LSU offered to fly to gainesville on Sunday and monday to even play the game in their indoor facility if need be. UF said no.

No way they could have uprighted the overturned lawn chairs by then

Is that the forecast that would dictate them not playing in this "might be in danger" scenario? Or is this a new projection?

The weather is 2 days behind the game. There is no weather issue in Clemson during the game. It's all logistical, transportation and not getting in the way of evacuations and necessary first responder personnel getting to where they need to be.

At this point they just don't really know if it will hit the GA/SC coast (probably in some capacity it will) and more importantly whether it will come in from sea and be stronger or have traveled up over Florida and obviously be much weaker.

Have Auburn fly in, no crowd game.

Gotcha. This isn't similar to the LSU/UF scenario then.

They could just move the game to the real Death Valley in Baton Rouge

No doubt this is the correct solution, but Auburn has lost enough here last 18 years.

Make sure you get the whole scenario right if you're going to dredge up ancient history. LSU offered other places, offered to travel to Florida on Sunday or Monday and was rebuffed. So just stop.
