I provided a link with a list of facts. Melts are irrational rants.

Just heard from someone who would absolutely know and they said that Auburn is considering a schedule change due to post-game player travel concerns.

I believe the concern is the people evacuating from Florida will be traveling through SC and causing heavy traffic. 70K fans added to the mix would be problematic.

No.

Anybody leaving the place it is predicted to hit on Sunday and going to the place it is predicted to hit on Monday needs to be culled from the herd.

The concern is over getting the SC residents out of harms way, not fleeing Florida residents.

Nah, our master plan is to pitch a hissy fit and get the game moved to a home game.

And then bitch like little babies when we lose.

Thank you for the clarification. I wasn't aware it was going to affect SC that much. I have not looked at the projections of Irma.

Traffic on the 75/85/26/16 routes already are and will continue to be a nightmare from today through Sunday. Clemson, most of South Carolina and most of Georgia are smack in the middle of it.

The Hurricane is now predicted to basically travel right up the Florida Turnpike and then straight up 75.

It's completely reasonable to figure out how feasible it is to add 80K to that mix.

I don't think it will change. It's going to be a perfectly beautiful day Saturday. Basically if you come to the game from the coast via I-26 you will not be able to return home for a few days. The Notre Dame game was played in much worse weather when a tropical storm passed through that night.

The latest path I saw showed a more northerly turn that, should it continue, would cause the storm to skirt the FL coast but make a direct hit on SC.

Yes I don't think it'll have anything to do with the game weather. The arteries for 95% of fans will be clogged with evacuees on 85/75/16/26.

I'm sure they'll figure it out and play, but I wouldn't be surprised if they shifted some things around.

That model is the European one. That is probably the most accurate.

I get the feeling they aren't sure what this Hurricane is going to do. I have been monitoring it closely the last several days and the spaghetti models are different with every update.

ETA here are the latest projections

It's funny how everyone adapts the forecasts towards where they live. On Facebook my friends vary from Florida, Upstate of South Carolina, to the coast of North Carolina and everywhere in between and everyone seems to be in the bulls eye.
