So how come Harbaugh and Carrol are successful in NFL and $aban wasn't? Kiffin has screwed every program he has been. Of course $aban will reccomend Kiffin to replace him.
Dolphins. He didn't get Brees and left to Bama.

At some point you just have to trust Nick Saban. He'll either look like genius or a fool.

Kiffin + black QB = Comedy Central

Relax. d Henry is still in the backfield and Coop is still out wide. Everyone knows auburn got lucky on the last play. Kiffin will be better than ok with all those weapons.

I too think it was a bad hire. I tought Nuss did a great job of using what he had on O. Smart/Saban's D was the one giving up big yards. It's a move that could kill a program. But, one would think that this is Kiffin's last shot, so he'll be focused.

2) How much did his recruiting ability help Lane Kiffin get the Alabama OC gig?
It certainly didn't hurt, but no one goes to work for Nick Saban who isn’t a top recruiter. More than that in this case, I would say that Kiffin’s style and scheme was the bigger part of it. Kiffin has already spoken to at least one offensive commitment, quarterback Ricky Town, about speeding up the tempo just a bit while maintaining the identity of a pro-style offense. Saban has long been a fan of Kiffin's ability, and even brought him in as a consultant late in the season to brainstorm certain avenues. On the recruiting front, there's no denying Kiffin's ability to sway a prospect, not that Alabama has had a hard time doing so of late anyway. His recruiting prowess helped, but it wasn't the primary reason he's now on Saban's staff.

Let's leave this type of thing up to CNS, huh? Man's got a pretty good track record.

Did they get lucky the rest of the game for it to be tied with 1 second left on the clock??

OJ Howard is probably the best weapon Bama has and he was hardly even used. Linebackers can't stay with him and DBs aren't big enough to defend him.
Against OU, McCarron was getting constant pressure which had a lot to do with the loss. Nuss should have adjusted and started calling quick routes to get the ball out earlier but he didn't. Nuss isn't a bad OC but he's not a great one either. I'm not saying that Kiffin is by any means but apparently Saban sees something in him.

They were kind of lucky that Cade Foster was on Bama's roster.

Somebody plz explain why Kiffin is a good hire to me?
They can't. The guy got fired because he couldn't score points and win games. But one of the worst coaches in SEC history took over his team and with the same players scored more points and won more games. Why didn't ya'll hire coach yawl yawl?
If I was a Bama fan I would be very worried.

You obviously know more than Saban about hiring coaches. Maybe you should call him and share your insight.

Brilliant. We should hire Orgeron (a defensive coach) for the position of OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR because when he was HEAD coach his team performed better than when Lane was HEAD coach.
