Brilliant. We should hire Orgeron (a defensive coach) for the position of OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR because when he was HEAD coach his team performed better than when Lane was HEAD coach

Can't be any worse than what you got.

They can't. The guy got fired because he couldn't score points and win games. But one of the worst coaches in SEC history took over his team and with the same players scored more points and won more games. Why didn't ya'll hire coach yawl yawl? If I was a Bama fan I would be very worried.
What's going on? I thought you were busy coming onshore and getting a life?

I for one have much more faith in the opinions of the smart guys who have reached the pinnacle of success ( being allowed to post on SEC Rant) as opposed to the judgment of some mope whose only claim to greatness is winning 4 BCS Championships

The only time I saw Saban "desperate" was when he was trying to get the hell out of Red Stick and down to Miami.

Geeze. You really suck at this. Have you even paid attention to Les? That mother fricker never flinches. It's one of his greatest attributes and flaws at the same time.

Well, you're certainly leading the way in that category right now. Tighten up man.

So how come Harbaugh and Carrol are successful in NFL and $aban wasn't?

Saban was 2 games under .500 in the NFL in two years. That's not as terrible as some of you like to make it out to be, maybe he would have done worse had he stayed longer, maybe he would have improved. You should check Carroll's record in his first head gig in the NFL with the Jets before he was fired, he was also fired by the Patriots after only 3 seasons; not exactly lighting the world on fire

Of course $aban will reccomend Kiffin to replace him.

He recommended Nutt at LSU when he left. Kiffin is like Nutt on steroids as far as drag gin programs into the dirt.
