yes. you see we have lots of fans and they have different opinions. so, logically, some are JJ fans and those fans are the ones likely to use that as an excuse (if we lose). sorry if my explanation is so simple but your "question" was pretty simple.

I prefer Jarrett Lee, even though he is immobile as a stone.
At least he can pass.

So I wont offer any excuses.

I dont like JJ's demeanor on the field or on the sidelines, when things go wrong.

JL will tug on his jersey and man up.

Onward.

Yes - It will be one of the biggest reasons we win by more than 10 points.

Seriously - it's not a good thing but it's not an excuse either. LSU still wins this game - maybe just not as convincingly.

I still think Lee has a big upside and may just get a chance to prove it now. The kid has a lot of talent just needs better footwork.

Just don't lose. I don't care if LSU and UGA lose all of their SEC games. Just don't lose to Oregon and Boise St. or I will be forced to use harsh language and might say shite or damn.

Les recently said it best: “It’s a side distraction to a great season that we do not want. But I told our (players), we made our bed and now it’s time to get it right."

So will LSU use this investigation as an excuse
quote:

Did we use Katrina and Rita as an excuse when you beat us in 05?

Think for a second....

in all honesty, i was at that game. And have a VERY good friend that is a diehard lsu fan..he did use that as an excuse lol. And just for the record, that was the worst i have ever been treated by a fanbase attending a game. Been back a couple times and didn't run into a problem. I dont know if it was lack of AC for a couple weeks, excessive drinking, or what but it was pretty rough to say the least.

Re: your quote about your VERY good friend, saying: "he did use that as an excuse, lol."
Sir, I am trying to be civil about this, because I'm sure you had or have no earthly idea or f-ing CLUE what the campus and LSU coaches and players went through after Katrina - assisting at a makeshift medical triage across the street at the Maravich Assembly Center, attending to injured and sick people, helping set up a morgue for the deceased, and assisting with lifting of dozens of trucks of supplies, food, clothing, ice, water, etc. in the humidity.
All this while STILL attending classes, talking with the media, and practicing for trivial football games, in very hot weather. No,NOT 'lol'

As far as your 'treatment' at the football game - I'm sure you just sat there like a Little Lord Fauntleroy lump and didn't say or do AAAAANYTHING, right ?????

If you are too block-headed to realize that MOST of the people on campus didn't come to see YOU, that is why most of them don't even know you're there or don't acknowledge you; and that SOME are nice, and SOME are bozos, you will get along better.

What confounds me is..no one EVER comments about the fans that DON'T SAY ANTHING AT ALL OR IGNORE VISITORS - the ones that are normal happy tailgating football fans who could GIVE A RAT'S arse ABOUT YOUR arse.

So the WHOLE FAN BASE treated you bad? All 120,000 people on campus were mean to you?
All 120,000 passed you, just YOU, all over campus, spit on you, pissed on you, threw up on you, yelled at you. EVERYONE ?????

Sorry, but if you were just walking and didn't look or say ANYTHING, then the idiots who yelled at should just be ignored.

Keep in mind, if as much as 5% of 120,000 people are "jerks" at a football game, that's still only 6000 people. Out of 120,000.

How did the other 95% react to you, your majesty? Probably just ignored you, went on with their tailgating, eating, talking, etc.

My experience in 40 years of going to games on campus is - if you smile and are treated nice, you will be treated the same. If you react like a vagina, it will only get worse.

I think LSU is way better off without JJ. Now if LSU needs to run the ball they will hand off the f-ing ball instead of letting Jefferson f up the option.

I don't see this as any kind of negative other than a slight distraction.

I would hope not. LSU beat North Carolina last year, when N.C. had many players suspended. The Baton Rouge bar fight is not an excuse. Injuries, suspensions, bar fights-- no excuses you play to win with who plays!

Dont really want to get into this but i will,

1. yes i have an idea and a f-ing clue what people went through after katrina, i live in south mississippi. I for one was without running water 5 days and electricity for 21 days. so yea i do have a little clue what was going on.

2. As i said i have been to lsu several times to watch games and didnt run into a problem, i said that this time was the worst i hve experienced anywhere. FACT

3. as far as the trash talking, tiger bait, and even in your face dogging and cussing someone from another team, that goes with the territory when you go anywhere, im used to it and yes i do laugh it off. but when you drive up looking for a parking place and just because you have a tennessee tag on the front of ur truck some frat guys throw cups of alcohol all over it, well i can even let that slide. But when you throw alcohol in the vehicle on people, their wives, and friends who are looking for a parking place..that is crossing the line. Hence the part again about me saying this was the worst treatment ive had attending a game.

Sorry if i hit a nerve talking about my experience about the great gameday at the campus of the almighty lsu.

Well, we certainly have an excuse. What's TN's excuse for your current and now established mediocrity.

Honestly, the difference between Jefferson and Lee is pretty small. If we lose with one we would have lost with the other.
