I'm a second gen sidewalk fan . My old man has always been a big fan. After my parents got divorced I watched the games every other Saturday with him till about 90 or 91 when I started watching them all... I went to a lot more games pre Saban than Saban era... it was a lot cheaper then.., but the games I go to now are a lot more meaningful...

No it's not. I've never seen an Auburn fan send their kid to their room or whip them for saying roll tide. At most they laugh.

This is peak Auburn. Of course, you are peak Auburn, from the Saban conspiracy theories to the notion that Auburn and Alabama folks are the same people from the same families. You are perfect. Never change.

As far back as I can remember. Some of my best Bama game memories were listening to the games on the radio with Eli Gold while my dad and I were at opening day of dove season.

First game I attended in person was the first SEC Championship. I'm sure you Gator fans remember that one too...

Although, I guess I'm not a real fan since I went to UAH instead of UA

Longer ago than anyone on here. Although I was a Bama lean during the Harry Gilmer years, I didn't sign the LOI until 1/1/1953. After reading and hearing the entire month of December how the "Beast of the East" Syracuse was going to annihilate the little boys from Alabama in the Orange Bowl. Bama beat those SOBs 61-6!

I can't think of any successful teams that don't have one.

I actually did become a fan of Alabama without going to school there. When I was born to an Alabama alum in 92 I pretty much inherited my fandom from my mother. However, once I graduated high school in '10, I decided to attend the school that I was a fan of growing up. Got two degrees there.

I mean. You guys were none existent for 17 years prior to the title run. So unless you "suffered through the hard times," which I doubt, then you were either a fan of Nebraska or USC during those years.

Even better if everybody stays on. I never got off even with an aubie dad trying to drag me off by taking me to their games in 1957*. Told him thanks but no thanks, that Bama was getting a new HC and was gong to be good again.

The day I was born.

First game I attended was as a small child in the early '70s. Ironically, it was a Bama -UF game in Gainesville.

My parents could only afford tickets to see Bama destroy a nobody which they did.

Since I know none of you actually even went to the school or were fans of Bama before their title run, let me ask when you became a fan?

So you're accusing Alabama of having caravan fans? A florida fan? Also, Alabama has had a legion of fans and a following since somewhere like the 1940s.

You can say we have crazies but to say we have more caravan fans than any other dynasty is just loony. But hey, people like winners.
