Hate to say it, but it looks like it.

Seems to me that he knew he had tanked the program with his final 2 years of talent evaluations and coaching hires.

Looks like he chose to coward his way out.

yep. i already stated in the past he had an affair with a co-ed at UF. Wanna know why it never made headlines? Do the math. now, was that the only reason? i doubt it. look what he left willie B.

A bunch of bullshite? Seems that way. Gators?
Butch Davis is not the coach at LSU right now for the exact same reason. Yet he signed on to coach at UNC 2 yrs later.

Link? There were no credible reports about any affair. But we're supposed to believe an anonymous internet "reporter"? Right.

Dig him for lying about family time all you want. Let's just not be stupid.

I predict struggles and disappolntment at OSU. No Merlins. No Charlie Strong. HUGE expectations and little patience from the fanbase. His arrival will be viewed as the 2nd coming of the airport scene when Saban landed in Tuscaloosa when all those redneck women were mobbing and kissing him. Urban will have very little time to make this work (ala - Muschamp) and history tells us it's very difficult to rebuild at a new school. Unless you're Saban, of course.

If Ohio State hires CUM, you will see a second version of what Michigan just went through with Rich Rod. Not to mention the effects of possible NCAA sanctions coming. Bad fit, period.

no. this is stupid. he had to be put in the hospital. he got out and left. then got the urge to coach again. it's not that big of a deal.

His health issues were real.

His family desires were Bull shite.

He recognized that his coaching staff was terrible, he had made horrible recruiting mistakes, and totally fricking bailed.

The only reason I give him a pass is because UF won two titles in 4 years and no matter where he goes afterwords, UF fans will always have 06 and 08.

Health issues were PURE bullshite. Anxiety induced chest pain. An absolute sign of weakness.
