That 22 Blazer is a very light boat and you will take an arse whoppin in a 2’ bay chop. As the other poster said I recommend a heavier bay boat. I had the Blazer 2170 and have lived it.
I now run a Robalo 246 Cayman with the 2nd station on Top. It’s a heavy boat and can walk across a heavy bay ch...

My son is 15 and has already booked 45 hours with a CFI. He flys twice a month. He will solo at 16 and get his PPL at 17. He absolutely loves it and is a great pilot for his age. Started at 13 yrs old . I encourage it if you can afford it. Not cheap. ...
