Fournette is the best RB I've seen since probably Adrian Petersen, and he may be better than AD. He's a rare, rare talent, and defensing that dude scares the shite outta me.

And yep we have been burned up the middle this season, and LB depth is a big issue for us.

Arkansas would be insane not to pound it between the tackles all night.

We'll see how well we step it up going with less nickel and more base 4-3, in addition to being a lot more hyped for the start of SEC play. It's a tough order to manufacture intensity for teams like Ball State and Nevada.

I think the number would be shocking. I guess we've replaced Bama for them

Against cupcakes, hang a banner this is likely your only chance.

But while we're on the subject of moving goal posts, let's talk about Kevin Steele. Your fanbase collectively mocked him all summer, proclaiming he would be run out of BR. Two division wins later and this defense is fricking filthy. So, upgrade

you were a false start away from giving up a game winning field goal, in which your defense looked like total and utter crap...

you just beat a team, who just benched their starter, after said team needed a miracle to beat Jacksonville freaking state. An someone how they scored more on ya'll in regulation.

I'd tap the brakes on Steel, as I would say we should definitely do with Chavis.

We gave up 43 yards rushing and MSU had to throw it 52 times to get 335 yards. Care to explain how that vaunted Aggy D gave up 240 yards rushing to Ball St and 153 yards rushing to Nevada?

This thread has some serious bump potential.

When the Aggies have three losses by the time November gets here this will be pure gold.

Not sure if serious.

You do realize it was 49-3 at the half and after giving up 70 yards two runs to start the game, the D gave up 29 yards the rest of the entire half.

2 string was in by mid 2nd quarter. 3,4 walk-ons played the entire second half.

153 to Nevada on 45 attempts... okay.

Got it. So then you get why 335 yards passing on 52 attempts and 43 yards rushing doesn't exactly qualify as looking like "total and utter crap" don't you? I'm fairly certain State is a little better than Ball St. and Nevada.

I completely agree. I wasn't referring to the numbers. I am referencing Chavis having great numbers but losing games.

The lsu defense on that last drive, looked like crap. Plain and simple. And if it weren't for MSU mistakes, they probably would've beat ya'll.

Arizona State was tied with Cal Poly going into the 4th quarter this past Saturday.

If Arkansas beats aTm this weekend, forget the Aggy melt. Just the overall SEC melt will be epic, realizing that 10 of the 14 teams in this conference aren't that great, and that most of those 10 are absolute garbage.

So everyone else should worry about who their opponents have beat, but not LSU?

Gotcha

And Auburn went to OT with Jacksonville State. LSU fans need to face that beating Auburn is not much of an accomplishment at all.

I remember when Chavis did well early in his LSU career also.

Maybe. Going on the road to that place for your 1st game of the year is tough no matter what.

it think numbers will be decieving with anything this early.

i think what Roger was attempting to troll was that A&M has played 3 games and is having some opportunistic stats for the first time in a while. There are some yards given up for sure, but the improvement in Sacks, TFL, and hurries is vastly different than this time last year.

Our defensive front is having a pin your ears down look this year, which is different than the last 2. So we have some good stats which show that we're getting a lot more push at the front, but when they get past the front into LBs and secondary, we're very average. But average at this point is an improvement.

anyways.... 3rd and chavis LOLZ, LSU we took your DC, and whatnot.
