Very well said 14! I'm sure as time goes on they will roll Paterno's statue back out there like nothing ever happened.

Simply not true. You both are wrong. The indictments occurred while Paterno was still employed by Penn State, and Paterno was not only not indicted, he was praised by PA Attorney General on how he handled the information he was given (see link).

There is NO evidence that Paterno covered up anything. In fact, even the men who were indicted notified the school attorney and head of the charity that Sandusky founded. That's not a very good coverup.

There is evidence, however, that the NCAA colluded with Freeh during his investigation. And several examples over many years that Freeh may be corrupt (see link).
