Meh, several of you have brought it up.

It wasn't just you.

Why don't you run along SW, Lunatik pointed out several threads made about the topic. I countered with a rebuttal of LSU posters making 10 threads about Bama loss and yes to be fair it wasn't a good comparison. I personally feel these type of threads are a bit distasteful. Yet I'm here posting in one

And again you choose to take snippet of posts without providing a fair context of the conversation, you sit on this site all day and do it over it's your calling card.

I don’t see it that way in this particular case. We are discussing Orgeron’s knowledge of the incident, his involvement in possibly covering it up and then the possibility of him lying about covering it up. It's a huge story IMO and could (I think it should) end up being a cause for termination if it's true that he talked to the lady.

The entire conversation is directly above my posts for anyone to read. I simply choose to address the part of the post I'm replying to.

Not sure why it bothers you so bad

And if that doesn't work he'll just deflect or run away and start over in yet another thread.

Looks like he did exactly what I said and abandoned the thread. He does it every single time he gets bent over.

This is one case where O may be telling the truth. Ed is a neanderthal. Would it really surprise anyone if he couldn't remember?

This noose might be tighter than we think a) he’s lying
B) she’s lying or confused
C) he gets hung on the aspect of “ you don’t remember someone, a 74 year old someone, personally issuing a complaint about vulgar, lewd, and awful comments from your star running back????” - I can see the argument coming that, well if he doesn’t remember - then obviously this shite ( sexual harassment/assault) is not that important to him/the program.

Granted - I have no clue how much chit goes on or he deals with on a daily basis- assume it’s quite a bit- but this is not type of thing that’s easy to forget.

Yeah, Ed remembers a 74 yr old lady accusing his star RB of verbally abusing her at the Superdome. He wouldn't forget some disgusting shite like that.

BUT, I can see where Ed may not remember an actual telephone conversation with her. And who's to say the old lady even knew who she talking on the phone, she could've talked to Ed or some other male LSU Administrative official for all she knew.

Orgeron lied to investigators about not speaking to Scott, she and her granddaughter told USA TODAY. The granddaughter, who requested anonymity for fear of retaliation by her employer, said she was listening when Orgeron talked to her grandmother on speakerphone.

There was no mistaking his deep, Cajun “frog voice,” they both said.

“Coach O is telling a lie,” Scott said, as tears rolled down her cheek. “He's not telling the truth. I don't have no reason to lie. I know who I was talking to. He knows he talked to me.”

Well, screw it then. I was trying to give CEO the benefit of the doubt.

If he lied then he lied.
