I get where you are going, but I'd decline as a 5-7. It's just not right.

the SEC probably figures Mizzou is such a huge embarrassment to the conference, the less said about it the better.

Lol, my bad for trying to actually give you a serious reply.

If it's not that much, why not just foot the bill and give us what we deserved from your shite team

Arkansas is the last team that should be complaining about others. How much has the SEC gotten from Arkansas lately? You stupid fricks can't even make it to a bowl most seasons and you're in here bitching about a team that was in a Cotton and Citrus bowl the last 2 years?

Have fun in your toilet bowl, the SEC thanks you for your 100k donation.

Glad you asked. 2016:

Actually, our portion of the TV revenue we brought in is about twice as much as Arkansas and infinitely more than any shite bowl game that Arkansas is playing in.

Mizzou will donate Arkansas' 100k contribution to new toilets.

We don't forfeit the bowl revenue. We will still get the exact same share evey other team in the SEC gets.

You're leaving bowl payout money on the table for the conference by declining a bid.

I understand that, but we aren't forfeiting our bowl share which is what you said. We will get the same payout as Alabama, Arkansas and Kentucky.

If the SEC wanted us to accept the bid, we would have. They left the decision up to us, and we declined so we could get a jump start with a new staff.

You have to think like a hog.

They don't know the next time they will make a bowl, so they get upset when teams that win 10+ games most years don't accept the Vaginal Yeast Bowl.

What TV revenue?

Your team is so shitty they haven't been on a major network in weeks

This thread wouldn't be so terrible if a couple weeks ago the same people weren't shitting on Kentucky for wanting to take a 5-7 bowl bid.

Rant is a joke.

Except that I didn't.

I said you were "forfeiting bowl money" as in leaving payout money on the table from a bowl to which you declined an invite. I explained as much in this thread.

With a new hire in place they should reconsider - not because they earned it but because it would help to get those extra practices in. Sure Mizzou might lose the bowl game but those practices would really help going into the offseason.

Low level bowls don't pay enough to even break even. So you lose money in their case.

What they are forfeiting is the extra practice with a bowl. Since they don't have their staff together it doesn't help them.

No biggie.

Being on the road recruiting would help this team 100% more than practicing new systems and schemes from new coaches.

Who gives a shite about a couple weeks of practice, it's a good thing that the rantards aren't managers.

So much this, they act like it would hurt the football team to play in a bowl.
