Why Anderson hasn't done better is weird to me honestly. I'm a big fan of his, do the new rules effect his style of play too much?

They certainly do effect how aggressive he wants to play. I think his biggest problem is recruiting. He has certainly got some great players but not enough to make deep runs in the tournament. He has some great JUCOs coming in next year that will add much needed depth.

He also has a commitment on a 4* Center for 2017.

The press is more to force a certain pace of game. Pace isn't his problem. Defensively throughout his time here we have been beat on the boards as opposed to giving up easy shots on breakouts/transition. Offensively, outside of this year(yes even times last year) the ball had a tendency to stick to one guy or side of the court. This years team has been much better about that though.
