With Mike Anderson most likely getting fired, is Marshall or Archie Miller on the short list? Ya'll probably have the second best fan base and support in the SEC. A top tier coach should want the job.

I don't think Gregg Marshall would do that, and Anderson isn't getting fired anyway.

Even Mike Anderson can't escape Pioneer's curse.

Don't think so either- we definitely aren't any worse than anyone thought we'd be, most games we are better than I anticipated and we have some good players coming in next season. This is pretty much just getting some experience year, no one expected we'd be a tourney team.

I'd say you are the worst South Carolina poster on here but CockInYourAss gets that title.

Pretty bad troll but Anderson is going to need a great year next season to not be fired for sure. This year is obviously in the toilet but that was expected. Next year, while he is losing 4 seniors, really hinges on how good the JUCOs are and if Kingsley returns. If Kingsley returns, there will be big expectations.

Keep thinking that.

Edit: You're free to start the game thread if we meet in the tourney. :)

You should start a thread about how Mizzou won't fire Kim Anderson.

Wish we would have hired Marshall in the first place. I'm underwhelmed by our performance under Mike. I love the history, his ties to our glory days under Nolan, etc, but Mike isn't getting it done as far as I'm concerned.

My biggest fear when we hired him was that we would get a HDN 2.0-- a coach who would be almost impossible to fire if things didn't pan out.

We are so far removed from our glory years that is laughable to ever think of ourselves as a basketball power.

We have done what Tenner did to themselves in football.

Makes me sick
