I hope they do, but those kids have to grow up FAST. I'm glad we play them early in the season. Muffins is going to get obliterated.

They get run out of the building if texas even has high school ability. Look for same score as last year.

Hope like hell I'm wrong.

I don't know. Did Texas ever get a QB? Or are they still rolling with Ash or whoever?

Then we throw to our other stud Moncrief.

I honestly don't think we can go there and beat them. But with that being said come game week I will talk myself into and convince myself that we can.

right now i would say no....i think our offense will put up points but our secondary has to get better. Have to see the Longhorns play first tho...

I'm gonna bump this thread based on the dumpster-fire performance that Texas had last night. Is the general consensus still that Texas handles Ole Miss?

IMO, Ole Miss should only have trouble with LSU, A&M and Bama from here on out.

Win one of those three and you only have 2 losses and right in the picture.

But we are talking about Ole Miss....

Byu ran read option and slashed. Only difference is that ole miss runs the read optionl and we have really good receivers to throw to. Texas knew byu wasn't going to throw it and they still couldn't stop them. Ole miss might not be quite as good on the read option but we throw it a ton better. On paper this is an amazing matchup for us. But we know how that goes.
