These Ole Miss threads are stretching the shite out of things. They barely beat Vandy. Vandy people. Mother Freakin' Vandy.

Please stop all these ridiculous threads. Are you people on drugs? If the Rant is gonna be this horrible this year . . . Saban have mercy on us all.

Its just because there are only 3 teams who have played and Ole Miss is the most hated among them. It will be more spread out tomorrow.

Well UT put 66 on them last year, so I say no...Don't think Treadwell, Tunsil and Nkemdiche will make that much of a difference. Plus it is at UT.

It will look like the TT/ Texas shoot out from the Crabtree year. Moncrief stays in bounds for an OM victory 52-49.

This. Vandy has decent coaching now but they are still one of the least talented teams in the SEC.

Over the last 10 or so years, when there was a major home and home nonconference slate, Texas LOST the home game and won the road game.

Case in point:

UCLA: 2010 (blown out at home), 2011 (big win in Westwood)

Ohio State: 2005 (close win in Columbus), 2006 (blowout loss in Austin)

Ole Miss vs Texas depends almost solely on David Ash and his associated turnovers.

Guy is Jekyell and Hyde. Was benched like 3 times last season for absolutely sucking.

no. 4, 5 star players vs an entire team of 5 star players. The problem with Texas is that Mac Brown has gotten stale as a coach.

I'd love to say yes, but they shouldn't.... Of course I've been saying that Texas is not going to be "back" this year and they won't contend for the conf. title over there, but that being said, they are better than Ole Miss....

An SEC team, no matter who it is, will get the other teams' best game in OOC matchups. Just reality right now. Not to mention everybody in the national media has been calling for the upset since February. Texas will be well aware and motivated to win.

And Texas' best game is still better than anything Ole Miss can muster. They'll probably play their best game once again.

I keep seeing ESPN hype Texas as a possible undefeated team.

I guess Ole Miss could beat them, but it would be an upset.

At this point Texas would beat us by 20. Unless they have regressed a lot. Last years ole miss team would beat this years pretty bad

Yes, Ole Miss will beat Texas. The final nails in the Texas coffin will be driven week by week and by the end of the season, Brown will be bye-bye.

There is a coach in waiting that I won't name for fear of reprisal....who's last name rhymes with 'abin'.. that will be taking Texas to the top of college football in the next couple of seasons.

I think so. That team had heart and lots of raw talent. I think both Vandy and Ole Miss could handle Texas this year.

What? No
