So based on what you saw last night, does Ole Miss beat Texas?

I think so. That team had heart and lots of raw talent. I think both Vandy and Ole Miss could handle Texas this year.

I'm gonna bump this thread based on the dumpster-fire performance that Texas had last night. Is the general consensus still that Texas handles Ole Miss?

No. Unless we can put 13 on defense.

If they jump out to a big lead, they've got a good shot.

I think Texas is going to be a lot better this year. They beat the hell out of Ole Miss last season. I say no.

The way Texas plays defense, you could put together 22 guys from this board and give them a good game.

In all honestly I dunno. If we would have one out and taken care of business I would have said so.

BUT in the second half we did out score Vandy by 15. So maybe we continue on from there and keep the ball rolling? I dunno

Yeah I don't know what the over under is but i will probably hit the over regardless. I can easily see both being in the 40s

Hope so. Texas is loaded with talent but do they want to win? Remains to be seen. Rebs are still heavy underdogs but I hope they can win.

based on last night, Ole Miss will need to score in the 40s to win the game... they can do it, but it will be a challenge.

UT's defense isn't as sound fundamentally (or as good overall for that matter) as Vandy's, but they've got team speed... I think they can stop the Wallace on the read-option.

I think it'll be much closer and Texas won't put up 60 but I still think they win by 10 or so
