Frosty you are right. Sometimes the ignorant sidewalk gumps make me go off. But time to back off. They dont watch the same game.

But you have to admit and he did admit to some bonehead decisions.
Yes. He did admit he made some gambles and he lost. It happens. But if our offense finishes a couple more of those drives, it would be a moot point because there never would have been a fake field goal attempt.

finally I think we should have tried to throw a pass on the last 3rd and 10 because a conversion ends the game
Sure. In hindsight, we shouldn't have run the ball 3 straight plays when a first down would have kept that drive alive -- the drive that could have sealed the deal. It's been a problem in more than a few games this year (A&M, Carolina) but in those games we had a bigger lead. That is far more concerning to me than a fake field goal attempt or failed onside kick because it's a pattern that keeps happening. Finishing drives is our #1 problem. And that is ultimately a coaching problem.

The biggest bonehead play was Copelands person foul.
Can't really blame the coaches for that. And the zebras missed an equally flagrant and highly visible (to anyone with eyes) personal foul committed by one of Bama's players.

Better team that night or better team for the season?
Alabama certainly wasn't the better team that night, but you'd be hard pressed to make an argument that LSU has played high caliber football for the season.
Luckily, our moral victory and our pride in a last minute rally worked out to be a full fledged victory. It feels pretty good.
Hopefully your moral victory has translated into the team you root for finally showing up to play to its potential and that will carry on for the duration of the season. Lord knows we don't want to suffer through more Towson, Florida and Auburn games. They aren't fun for any of us to watch.
Still happy to have our rally. It made me proud to be an Alabama fan. And we can go on another week in hopes of cheering to another championship!

Which championships do we claim that we shouldn't? 1964? We lost our bowl game but we still won the awards. 1973? We lost the bowl but still won an award.

this thread should be the pawl fbomb thread...bama never loses, they just beat themselves sometimes. LSU played azz off and gave Bama all they wanted, actually will help Bama in long run....quit bitching and playing off fans that their team lost...move on bama fans. None of you gave LSU a chance and should be damn glad yal won...thats it.

Because you say so. frick you

I thought Bama was beat for 58 seconds.

I hope you GUNTS are joking. You let one of the worst offenses move the ball AT WILL on you. Oregon will drop 40 on Bama
Posted on 11/5/12 at 8:09 pm to Rickdaddy4188
it wont be to oregon's credit...it will be cause bama let them or had an "off game".

that's because they had time outs to use when lsu had the ball to save enough time to kick their shite in.
