No, he just needs to not go untouched through the line. Bama's pretty decent at that.

Good, it will be nice not being the only team on the field with this problem for a change.

actually we still have that certain group of LSU fans that will never like Les, and still have pictures of Nicky on their bedroom walls. They worship the guy, would blow him if given the opportunity. It's sickening. I think Saban is a very good coach. It certainly doesn't hurt that he has the top talent to play with every year, but that's based off of the reputation of both bama and Saban.....there are a lot of good coaches that given the talent he has, could do very well. I'm actually one of the ones that thinks Les Miles, his boring offense and all, is one of the best coaches in the nation. You don't do it 11 years in the SEC with >80% win rate and be a Mediocre coach.

LSU/Les Miles has equal talent as Saban/Bama and has for years. Les needs another national championship PRONTO ~ 2007 is way in the rearview mirror.

This is LSU's year - excellent defense - productive and well executed offensive scheme - best RB in the country - seasoned QB leading the team.

No excuse for LSU not to win it ALL.

250 yards of total offense and 2 TDs is what Harris needs to produce. If he does that LSU will be in good position to win the game.

If he does this, I don't even think there will be an opportunity for Bama to score late for the win or the tie. I think he needs 2 td's...but only 200 yards.....but there could be some big passing play to be had...depending on how our OL performs against their DL. Most haven't watched Harris this year and just look strictly at box scores. He has had the ability all year, and is now being allowed to realize it. IMO, the coaches brought him along perfectly this year....gaining some experience the first few games then gradually opening him up to be ready for the Bama game....will hope to see that progression against WK. You can bet that Les and Cam will have a hell of a gameplan for bama...they usually do.

I still like Fournette for a little positive yardage if he goes toe to toe with a big linebacker, even Ragland.

couldn't you say that every year for Bama?

No, Alabama has had the top recruiting class for several years running. LSU's isn't chopped liver, but I'd say they probably average around 5 or 6 over that period of time. That class of 2014 though was big for them though.

I'll give him those two-three yard gains all day.

I believe he averaged 4 yards a carry last year and was getting stronger as the game wore on..that was with a weaker OL, no passing threat, and LF himself wasn't near the back he is now. Maybe you know something I don't. Good luck.

If he's meeting one of our LBs in the hole at the line, then he's not getting four yards very often.

you do realize that when he says 1 on 1....he doesn't mean LF lowering his head and trying to plow over a 260 pound LB right? He means that LF has the shake and bake to get by a lb one on one...and then the power to shake off an arm tackle from a db.

Yeah, there's no way he averages less than 4 yards in this game.

He's going to break for bigger gains on some of his carries. He's too strong, too fast, and our run blocking is too good.

I am a Bama fan and I think he is "average". He is an "average" bad arse. Wished he played for us. He is skeery good, and tough as friggin' nails. He will provide a huge challenge for our defense, and will have some big plays. I think he is probably better than Henry, because Henry is bigger and tends to get stopped behind the line on more occasions. Neither one of them is going to have an easy night in the Bama-LSU game. If Bama loses to LSU, I hope LSU rusn the table and I hope Fournette wins the Heisman. Anybody but those douchenozzles from Auburn or Ole Miss.

Hes the best RB in the nation right now no doubt about it. I don't think he will have a lot of success vs Bama this week though. That Dline is going to limit him no way around it. he will probably break a decent run or two and end up around 100-150. Don't expect him to win the game for LSU though.

just incredible that no success means this.....ha..and I'm not bashing you, but that's the standard he has set.

If he does, the Heisman trophy race is officially over.
