Is it? She was the leader of the pack for 2020 dem candidates in a survey I saw a couple of days ago.

Nah. Her Depends are full, and her time is done.

What's really interesting is how many people talk about politics in echo chambers, and are completely convinced that their perspective is the predominant one.

We've become so polarized that it seems Americans' greatest enemies are other Americans. This dichotomy has persisted for so long now that our young people are conditioned to it and don't know about the middle in politics and the great value of compromise.

This division is more marked now than ever and is downright scary. Recall those terrifying images of leftists, and they were young people, marching through D.C. destroying everything in their path even while Trump's inauguration was under way.

What would have happened if Clinton had won? Kentucky's own governor was calling for violence in that event. Even Trump alluded to it.

We're living in very troubling times. Trump won the election and I hope he will unite us but after the first few weeks of his presidency, I'm not at all confident that he can or wants to. I hope I'm wrong.

I don't have the slightest idea what you are talking about with either of those allegations.

I'm willing to admit it might be partisan myopia, dunno.

But while I'd guess I am a Trump supporter, there isn't any cult of personality or "cornpone" messiah aspect to it.

What Trump campaigned on, I am fully in support of.

I'd absolutely love to pull our military out of the worldwide network of bases we have: Diego Garcia, Germany, Korea, Okinawa, Afghanistan, the whole Middle East.

Reduce military spending (though not for actual troops and ships - 8 Divisions is a little light even for a country that isn't throwing its weight around). Cancel the F-35 (c'mon, white elephant. The future is drones and robots; lots of drones and robots - the day of the manned fighter is over).

No immigrants. None, nada. None from Asia. Birthright citizenship is not recognized (think we are the only country in the world with this).

Trade barriers. Protectionism.

Love to have me some Glass-Steagall back too. But I'm not liking the look of all those Goldman-Sachs types the New Yorker has running around that administration.

In short, if Trump doesn't deliver, I for one have no qualms about throwing my measly vote behind someone else next time. (Though there may be no other viable option).

But you can rest assured I would vote for Satan as the lesser of two evils as opposed to Hillary.
