Dumb trashy bitch. Can't think of a better representative for UK

On one hand, it's pretty tacky to bring up politics to a complete stranger and I agree that sports should be an escape from politics, but what did she expect would happen after her psycho rant at the Women's March? She completely opened herself up to situations like that when she went crazy on that stage and insulted the guy that her home state voted for.

I wish she would go away. She's crazy.

Are you aware of which states are in contention during the midterms? If you think anything but a GOP gain will happen in '18,
If Trump, with his wild goals doesn't deliver something by the midterms the moderates who elected him will abandon the GOP just as we have in the past. Unlike right wingers like you and left wingers like Judd, we don't tie our fates to one party or political ideology.
Through his weird machinations during the campaign, we saw a focus on strengthening the economy. Not so with Clinton. That's why he won.
Politics isn't like sports. The winners don't get something, they have to give something. Too many on the left and right don't see that.

I called a possible Trump win back in January of '16.
You called a possible Trump win? Okay, that's rich. Way to stick your neck out there.

Kentucker, thanks for throwing a taste of sanity into this thread. I hate political threads on the rant, but at least you injected an interesting perspective into the standard mouth breathing Trumpfest.
What's really interesting is how many people talk about politics in echo chambers, and are completely convinced that their perspective is the predominant one.

I wonder if irony gets you, or karma?

Actually, all of us are subject to it. I fight to remind myself that my views are reinforced by like-thinking friends and a slanted Facebook feed.
But some people are completely oblivious to it.

Yeah, but it seems to me that it is pretty easy to draw conclusions and make observations.
1) Both political parties are ungainly coalitions where the interests of readily identifiable groups aren't common, and actually have conflicts.
A) I think the Democratic Party is the most unstable. They barely even offer lip service to classical liberal notions anymore, you know like helping coal miners or assembly line workers.
They offer nothing and benefit white working and non-college voters not one iota.
Basically they are a collection of interest groups. Blacks who they have had since FDR, the most loyal members at the booth. The Snowflake SJW types who are predominantly found in select whitetopias.
Asians used to vote Republican (at least the ones we had then). That changed about 92 for some reason. Now they vote Democratic.
A cynic would say it is because they utterly value elite colleges, and the moolah they see by getting your ticket punched for the real money on Wall Street and the other big profit centers. Ivy and and other elite schools are pretty much the only hiring spots for certain kinds of high status and oh so compensated jobs.
So if the wind blows to jibbering about microagressions and being "woke" to get in the pipeline that is the way Asians are gonna roll.
There are a whole lotta Hispanics here now, but apathetic might be too positive a word to describe their political engagement.
And when Hispanic interests collide with say Asian, as the kerfluffle a few years ago about quota admissions at California universities, they tend to get slapped down hard because they aren't worming into the system, or bringing the vote totals their numbers say is possible.
Okay, this is getting long. And I am really not sure anyone cares about my take on things.
But the Republican party has a whole lot of fracture points and is an unstable thing too.
The names will stay, but the two big parties are going to change a lot over the next ten years.

I'm incredibly disappointed in the Democratic Party too. There is no leadership. The one bright spot is that the Clinton stranglehold is finally broken.

She is crazy. I don't agree with her socially/politically, but she is a great fan of the program and supports Kentucky basketball big-time.

I still would love to know if she attends and supports Kentucky women's basketball team. If not, she's just as sexist, kkk loving, deplorable, nazi as the rest of us.

Road gator, I'd say I'm a moderate liberal if anything. I am usually on the side of the liberals on social issues(besides the crazies of course) and im mostly on the conservative side when it comes to fiscally. I usually identify as a libertarian but some of my social views differentiate from them which in case makes me believe I'm a moderate Liberal, like a Bill Weld.
However, the wackos from the liberal and conservative sides have me not wanting to have no part with either side. This site only seems to point out the wackos of the left... mainly because I think we have some wackos from the right that lurk and post on this board.
