The one where he jumped a slant route? That was just a good play.

No, the one that sealed the game when the QB scrambled on 4th down and then threw it straight to him, with none of his receivers in the area.

Look, I'm not knocking the kid, he made the game winning INT. However, acting like that was anything other than a terrible, terrible throw by the UNC QB is just plain wrong.

If by "nice read" & "good position" you mean he was standing in the middle of the endzone surrounded by USCe players, then sure.

I was referring to the 2nd INT, where he jumped the route.

You gotta ask yourself, does UNC make that mistake if they were facing the pass rush, of let's say McNeese State

Skai Moore has a lot of interceptions in his career. He makes those plays. People are going to see what they want.

The rant will not allow you to be happy about your win. We expect tears of shame at not having won by 100. Especially the LSU fans.

A Qb throwing the ball directly to a defender or a player dropping a football untouched could be viewed as a gift.

USC was awful last night, just a little less awful than UNC.

You gotta ask yourself why you keep talking about jumping a slant route when the QB scrambled to his right on the play.

If it was, in fact, a slant route the ball was delivered terribly late, thrown across his body and into traffic. Once again, good job by the safety to be in the right place, but it was a terrible throw.

Exactly. So why bother with this thread. Down the road no one will care about the interceptions. It will only matter that SC won.

Doesn't matter. It's still a turnover.

Bottom line: our defense made plays and got pressure that we couldn't do for the most part last season. We're beginning to look like that fast angry defense that SC was once known for..

Well who's fault is that? I bet if Moore had dropped the pick ppl would be talking about how he should have caught it.
Bottom line is this that was a veteran offense last night against a revamped defense a defense which flat out confused Williams. On that last pick they showed blitz and dropped back into coverage the guy got tricked that's what made the throw look so terrible

This is what I'd take away from the game. Your defensive line practically lived in UNC's backfield on passing plays.

This.

Terrible pass, terrible thrower and a beautiful gift, please accept it and hope for more.

If I saw the stats correctly, NC had a running back that ran for 138 yards on 13 carries. Why only run him 13 times? They shouldn't have been throwing in the red zone anyhow. Larry Fedora is the peter principle in action.

Oh ok. Well that was the 3rd INT which I think was the confusion.

No.

If he'd been tricked he would have delivered the ball on time straight to the defender. The fact that he extended the play by rolling out actually proves he was not tricked and that he recognized the coverage. What made the play so terrible is what I've already said. Delivering it late, across his body and into traffic.
