I think UNC sucks. Everyone was talking about their offense and bringing back all their starters. An offense that averaged over 30 points per game last year. As for our offense. For whatever reason, it always looks like garbage for the first couple games and then looks fantastic against Georgia. We are used to ugly wins.

Maybe, but you still gave up 440 yards. Above your average from last year. I want to give SC credit for the turnovers, but I just can't give them full credit 3. That's on the QB. 2 of them were no where close and in the redzone. At times UNC receivers were wide open a la A&M last year.
I'd be cautiously optimistic.

You are right, a win is a win.
UNC looked like a little bit better of a team yesterday, but a) the better team doesn't always win, and b) doesn't mean South Carolina wouldn't look better if they played again. Football rarely goes exactly like it should.
But SCAR got the victory. That's what you're looking for most.

I love how the conversation now is how bad William sucks..
All summer the only thing SC fans heard was how UNC's veteran offense was going to put a beating on us. Williams was supposedly this amazing QB that SC can't stop and how UNC will probably have a top 25 offense..

Clearly UNC and UGA subscribe to the same philosophies: if they give you turnovers, then they "gifted" you the ball, and if they lost, then they "beat" themselves. But if we give them turnovers, they play "awesome" defense and we weren't good enough to deserve to win, if we actually lose.
This way, those teams can claim to having undefeated series records against us into perpetuity, regardless if they actually lost games to us or not...
