He'll play. He may be sick as a dog before and after and hurling his guts out at half-time but he'll play and when he's on the court you may not even be able to tell. That's just the way guys like Sin are.

Several world records have been set by athletes who were sick as a dog. In basketball you have the Jordan "flu game"... though that was likely food poisoning.

The big question is can USC keep Thornwell hydrated and give him enough breaks to regain his energy? They are going to have to be strategic about this and sneak him rest breaks when they can in the course of the game.
