Since I mosty post here on tRant I should warn you

Hopefully it won't matter much but because I spend most of my time in this forum I wanted give y'all heads up.
The SO's Mom died unexpectedly last night. I'm heartbroken, sleep deprived, scatterbrained and zombified and god knows what else. Even so I'll probably spend as much time as I can here because it's a great escape and I can't think too much about it all right now.
So if I act strange, angry, stupid, or whatnot just know this may be why. Hopefully I don't but y'all know how is. Again, I'm gonna do my best to keep tRant as my great escape and hopefully that works.
For those of you who still have your parents hug them tight.

Thanks everyone. Mainly, I want everyone here to know that if I lash out too harshly or personally, act incredibly dumb, or generally act way out of character for me that all this probably has something to do with it.
Hopefully I won't do any of that but if I do get stupid/crazy I wanted y'all to know why. If I say or do anything vicious or incredibly stupid this is likely why.
Like I said, I'm hoping none of that happens and that this can be my usual escape despite the circumstances.

Hey Prof, over the last few years my wife lost both her father and then her mother to cancer. To complicate matters, her family lives in Brazil and she was unable to be there through most of their suffering.
I know exactly how you feel when your significant other is hurting and you cannot ease their pain. My sympathies and best wishes go out to you.
