Damn, bro... I'm so sorry. There are no words that anyone can say to carry you through this. Just hang in there and cherish the memories that you have.

So sorry to hear to hear of your loss. My oldest sister passed unexpectedly in March. On top of the shock and grief, unexpected passings leave a great deal of confusion and painstaking work in locating bank accounts, titles to property, insurance policies, investments. If you know its coming you can have it somewhat mapped out and organized for your survivors but its tough to piece together the departed's life and affairs no matter how close you may have been. Its made me put together a "gameplan" and inventory in addition to a will.
In the spirit of solidarity, I will make no comparisons of the Tennesse and Sewanee football programs ftom now until Labor Day weekend.

Prof, I'm so, so sort to hear this. You and yours are in my thoughts and prayers. You are one of my favorite posters, and from this thread, it's obvious you have friends here. People care. Hang in there, and I will pray for peace for you and your SO.

Sorry for the loss Prof. I've gone through way too many family and friend deaths lately and know your pain.
I'm always supposed to be the strong one to keep it all together for everyone and never have a time to grieve properly. Let it all out and just know that it is normal.

I just wanted to say that I'm extremely grateful for the condolences/support. I wasn't really expecting it as I honestly just wanted to give a heads up that I might act a fool so it was a pleasant surprise.
