If I were the injured party's lawyer, I'd try to obtain all camera footage of game from media and schools. Perp is probably in a shot somewhere. Ditto with any store cameras in the area of attack. Don't think i'd depend on the Tuscaloosa PD for help.

The story's short on quite a few details.
Where's he hospitalized? I'm assuming it isn't Tuscaloosa so I guess they just made the 3 hour drive/ride home to Oxford with a broken jaw? That's very hardcore, very drunk, or both.
I'm also guessing they didn't call 911 for either EMS or LE when it happened. Wonder why not? Would have been much easier from both a medical and criminal complaint standpoint.
They also say they're waiting to contact LE, which doesn't sound like they're overly concerned with catching the perp. That video they say they're hoping caught something stands a greater and greater chance of being overwritten as each day passes.
There's either more to the story than is being told, or they're not very bright at all.
Finally, am I the only one that found it odd the author thought it would be a good idea to include a picture of the guy's beaver?

Bama guy probably just lost 20.00 bet on the game and he was edgy...thats all. Why does it seem Bama is involved in this kind of shite more than any other fan base? Fricking morons.

I'm calling bullshite.
1. Guy was laid out so bad that he's lying in a hospital bed...but police weren't called? And no police report has yet been filed?
2. Assailant was with his wife and kids...but then the assailant suddenly just "disappeared"? And no single person in a group of friends was able to stop him? A guy walking with a wife and two little kids isn't going to just suddenly disappear so quickly that someone in the group wouldn't be able to follow him and/or the kids.
3. The closest PIzza Hut, according to the company website, is actually on the other side of BDS from "Salon 5".

but I hope the perp gets caught and charged with assault, if the article is indeed telling the whole truth. Who knows.
