A backup QB at the worst SEC program was offered more than a quarter mil to throw games and upset the balance of the conference.

Was he supposed to make Vandy win or something? Because I don't think you need to pay anyone to get Vandy to lose.

Billy Walters was recently on JRE and he explained how difficult it would be to get away with fixing games as bookmakers and handicappers would sniff it out almost immediately.

The guy needs serious therapy. Why would anyone bother with a backup QB. Besides Vandy loses most games anyway, how could his lame performance change the outcome.
