Arkansas is not now, nor will we ever be scared of Aggie.

Go look at our defensive starters for the A&M game and it'd be pretty easy to understand why that game was as close as it was. We were decimated by injuries on the defensive side of the ball in games 2, 3, and 4.

Well, the last time Ark beat A&M at their place was 1989. They will be a formidable opponent there and I can see why UA is doing its best to avoid it.

I'm going to go ahead and judge this book by his cover.

You sir are uninformed about how football really works or even something as simple as the ins and outs of recruiting violations. You should read more and post less until you fully understand the game of football.

When was the last time we lost to A&M in College Station?

If UT can beat them there, I think we can too.

How'd we do in the latter 3rd of the season when we got back most of our defensive starters? How'd we do against USCe? TN? KState? Mississippi St?

Those little shifts in performance happened to coincide with a few 1st team defenders getting healthy. Make of that what you will.

You want to use the injury excuse? Really? How about us losing the top 4 RBs at various points of the season. Losing our starting left tackle for the year. Our starting center missed most of the games this year. Having our kicker hampered throughout the year due to injury. We were without multiple players on defense. One of our top defensive ends, Brad Madison played the season with a bad knee and where he couldn't raise one of his arms above his shoulder requiring surgery. We lost our starting middle linebacker for the year. We had multiple injuries knocking out some of our starters in the secondary.

Missouri was one of the most banged up teams in the nation last year.

Every team has crucial injuries during a football season. It's not an excuse. DWI.

True or false:

Team with half of it's defense injured will perform poorly.

True.

So stop bringing up Arkansas struggling to beat mediocre teams when half the defense was injured. That's all I'm asking. Focus on games 1-2 (cupcakes) and 9-13.

How's this.

Mizzou could have kept it close if they had played us in October. They might have even beaten us.

Mizzou would lose by 10+ had they played us after October.

If the big 12 wore your team down last year then you won't make it out of september without some major depth issues.

Point taken and, to be honest, I didn't realize that because Mizzou is so irrelevant nationally.

It isn't a matter of being "worn" down. There were a crazy number of fluke injuries. There were numerous starters lost before the season even began.

I had never seen anything like it. The plus is a lot of depth got significant playing time, which will help this coming season. Most people don't realize that Missouri was basically three plays away from an 11-win season.

Tends to happen when everyone is over worked and exhausted. SEC play increases this effect.

Arkansas: blowing up the inter-webs near you in their quest for relevance.

I have NEVER, outside of WVU's fan base, seen a group hijack so many threads, not just here but all over the CFB blog/forums sphere, and make them all about Arkansas, or what "x" team is or is not compared to Arkansas.

Its unhealthy and pathetic.

UT had a recent history of winning at College Station. Arkansas won only twice at CS in the last 11 years of the SWC. Aggies will dominate Ark in CS. In the long run, they will surpass the Hogs in the West. I say this as a neutral fan as I have no afinity for either school.

I definitely think we are the most entertaining fan base. Our fans in general have a real fricked up sense of humor on the interwebz.

Did TJ Moe (point of this conversation) mention in his interview (point of this conversation) anything about Arkansas?
