Doing so would be taking money out of everyone's pockets. Would result in us taking the KC/STL market to the Big 10.

Curious as to why you think GT should modernize? We were prostyle under both Gailey and OLeary and had trouble getting prostyle QBs competing with so many programs with easier paths to graduation. We never won the ACC with Gailey at the helm, never beat UGA and only played in one ACC game which we lost to Weak Florist 9-6. Thats with Calvin Johnson.
When it comes to recruiting GT absolutely cannot comptete with all of the FSU, CLEM, UGA, Bama, TN, etc. for the right pieces. So we did what most schools do and differentiated with PJ.
During PJs tenure GT is 7-2 at home vs. top 10 teams, won the ACC, won the division 3 times, runner up in the division three more times, beat UGA twice and took have been within 7 points all but 3 times, won a major NY6 bowl and always finish at or near the top in total offense sans 2015.
What is UGAs records against top 10 teams at home or away in the last 8 years?
I know the option had been used for ages but with PJ and GT it is working. In 2014 when we had some NFL talent on the line and at WR we were nearly unstoppable by the end if the year. We grinded teams down and wore them out...even the mighty SEC teams.
PJs offense has also put Demariys Thomas, Stephen Hill, Deandre Smelter and Darren Waller in the NFL as WRs when people said the offense would never put WRs in the next level.
Im all for listening if you make good points, but PJs record and stats vs. when GT ran "modern" offenses doesnt support your claim that GT should modernize.

You were rejected by the Big 10 already.

I'd take any school over Mizzou. Nothing against the fans. It's all about the BLM nonsense.

Yes, hold a small group of minority students' actions against an entire university and its fan base. It's over. Get over it!

Yes, Mizzou is a better cultural fit for the MAC.

I'd be a fan of Alabama coming to Bobby Dodd every few years. And definitely a fan of Alabama coming to the Thriller Dome every year (or every other year).

GT would never rejoin the SEC until the oversigning issue was resolved.

Save this for the offseason

Again those stats dont back it up. PJ is far more accomplished than any coach in modern history of GT doing things the way he is. Stop saying we should because we are in GA because thats an empty statement. Its not supported.
Also, i know you all hate to hear this but here it is. Go to GT and face calculus, physics and professors who dont give a shite about football or athletics, or go to Clem/Bama/FSU etc and take sports science and breeze through the academic side so you can focus on football.
Takes a special kid to go the first route. Calvin Johnson is the only highly rated recruit to do so in recent history.

We're 4-1 against Missouri, it'd be tough to make our schedule easier by replacing them.

Wasnt the students. It was the cowardly administration at your school that rolled over and the quasi-fascist faculty members who ruled. Look at how OSU handled it. Student protesters tried to take over the student center and the administration told them they would be arrested and expelled if they didnt leave. No discussion.
