I say no. While Legion Field is a stadium filled with lots of memories and tradition, it's in horrible shape and is in the ghetto. Honestly I think it has seen it's better days and is probably at the point where it would be best to just tear it down.

Every stadium you listed is a stadium that I'd go to with my wallet in my front pocket to avoid pick pockets.
Maybe, there isn't a project of crappy government homes next to the SuperDome, but don't act like its located in a posh area of town.

There are large modern office buildings right next to and across the street from the Dome, as well as the "posh" totally redone Hyatt Regency, which is CONNECTED to the Dome, and the famed Hotel Intercontinental on Poydras, not to mention the huge Walkon's - the 2013 winner for best sports bar nationally.

Wait I thought the SEC was so biased for Alabama that they would never take the game away from Bama like that?

And since it's moved to Atlanta, Georgia has been their the most I'm pretty sure.

Who cares if the ACC plays in Atlanta?
And how would you "lose it forever?"
Some of y'all are a tad dramatic.

Legion Field probably needs to be torn down and it is in the ghetto. No way ever the SEC would ever go back there under any conditions. Would look terrible for the whole conference.

ACC signs 20 year deal with Georgia Dome to play their game there every year. It's not hard to figure out.

It should rotate. Annually or biannually.

The Dome has gotten millions of dollars in upgrades and reneovations, including the one-of-a-kind lighting system on the outside,

Maybe they should worry about keeping the interior lights running throughout a big game.

I didn't say it was hard to figure it out.
I still fail to see how that's losing Atlanta forever.

Obviously the OP has never been to Legion Field.
Parking sucks, but the rib sammiches weren't bad.
No thanks to going back to Legion Field ever, for anything

If the ACC is playing there, the SEC can't play there. Thus, Atlanta is removed from the potential rotation by default.

Atlanta is by far the best city to have the game, especially with the new Dome. It's staying there.

There's no reason to move it. Nobody wants to go to Alabama to watch the premiere conference championship game. Only other city that kind of makes since is Nola but they have the sugar bowl that I'm sure they wouldn't want to rotate with Atlanta

(1.) In 39 years, that was the first time that happened.
(2.) The outage during the Super Bowl had nothing whatsover to do with the Superdome, the Dome management, or the City. It was human error by employees of Louisiana Power and Light (LP&L).

(3.) The Superdome has contracted with a private company and built new facilities and equipment as a backup in case LP&L has another 'accident.'

Click these and see if I'm "exaggerating."
Hyatt Regency, LePavilion, Royal Sonesta, Hotel Intercontinental, Loew's, Ritz-Carlton, to name a few.
Galatoire's, Commander's Palace, Court of Two Sisters, Antoine's, etc.

I didn't say the game was moving.

I don't believe that anything is impossible.
Problem solvers and critical thinkers are those who ultimately find the most success in this world .

Rotate the game in Atlanta with the ACC.
When the SEC is in ATL, ACC is in another city; and vice versa.

Honestly I couldn't care less.
Ags love to fly anywhere.
We're not the provincial type.
We've been doing it for years; and it's the best way to live and learn about new people and places.

Something tells me you live near Atlanta.

Nice. Congrats. You must be killing it.

Why would the ACC agree to that?

Why are you being so sarcastic?
The ACC would agree to it if that was the offer, and they wanted to play in Atlanta.
I'm sure many of their fans would be fine rotating their game to other ACC cities as well.
You know--spread the wealth, so one city doesn't reap all benefits.
Who knows?
Just a hypothetical.
Not looking to battle with you.
Peace, guy.
