Should SEC teams schedule more neutral-field in-conference games?

For example, I think LSU and A&M should play every year at Reliant on T-day night. That would be....AWESOME!!!

LSU gets a HUGE game every year in city with its biggest LSU fan/alum population in the entire world, so the Thanksgiving problem goes away. Houston is also an LSU recruiting hotbed. LSU gets to avoid the insurmountable, daunting, pants-shitting, unfair home-field advantage A&M has at Kyle. With both teams splitting the revenue from ticket sales every year, it presents a golden opportunity for Joe Allegra to get LSU out of the red and on stable financial ground. Win win win all around.

Others could also benefit from neutral field games.

Get the ADs on the phone and MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!

I'd play UT at the Titans stadium.

I'd say it makes sense in the scenario..

On the other hand, I'm glad the Iron Bowl isn't a neutral site game anymore because I'm sure there was a lot of drunk driving on 20/59 (Bham to Tuscaloosa) and between Birmingham and Auburn.

Take it from a UGA fan- neutral field games are awesome, but they frick up your schedule. I don't think the $$ in todays game allows for it. Doubt you'll see any "new" games set. In fact every year we hear about UGA wanting out of the Jax deal. But there is so much history there it would be a tough move.

Sorry but that's Bowling Green's job this year.

Avoiding hurting someone's feelings because you have a home advantage? Lame.

Make it aTm vs LSU at the superdome yearly with LSU getting 75% of the revenue and I'm in.

Barely beating a Dooley Coached team on a classic Dooley-can't-count herpa a derp is something to brag about?

No.

Schools spend millions on their stadiums that only get used for college football 7-8 times a year. Use them.

I'm kind of serious about UK-UT in Nashville. That would be awesome. Probably not a big enough rivalry though (it's still real to me, damnit).

And bring back the barrel.

If the city of Birmingham ever gets a new stadium, there might be a slight chance that Alabama and Auburn play there one year for the hell of it. But I doubt it.
