Thanks Patton. I was just curious about how that blew up and then vanished. Man I wish we had some alumni the the REC at LSU. Willing to kill or die for Bama football.

I hope that they get to house those crystal balls at their house or hunting camps a few days a year. They deserve it.

So that's the new definition of self reporting?

LSU turned LSU in because it heard they were being turned in by Bama or State so as to get lesser penalty. SEC is following NCAA rules.

While LSU compliance was busy turning LSU in to the SEC, did they also offer up the self-imposed penalties like last time you had a coach providing housing for player?

Did CLM not know to run his activities with Womack through the compliance folks first? Especially in a case where the rule clearly states that if the kid doesn't sign with your school, then the school is subject to violating contact rules?

There seems to be a lot of Bama fans talking in this threa, but none of them seemed to have answered the OP's question:

Has anyone found Luther? And if found, is he willing to talk with investigators or turn over his financial records to the NCAA?

I'm semi curious about what happened with this one too? Since it was reported in Oct. of '14 not a peep anywhere on the interwebs about any kind of resolution or penalty...

According to court records uncovered Monday by AL.com, a search of Freitag’s Bryant Hall dorm room yielded 112 grams of marijuana and $4,661 in cash. The West Alabama Narcotics Task Force was reportedly tipped off recently to a pending drug deal involving Freitag, and caught him in the act last Tuesday.

The yahoo story isn't even anywhere close to the worst thing to come out about bammer in recent years.

Pat White claimining he was given a 30 or 40 thousand dollar car by bammer boosters and dozens of players being pictured hanging out day and night with a seperate booster, including at a restaurant, in his place of business, and a private birthday for Trent Richardson's kids

Bammers will likely respond to this with some deflection about Auburn that is the equivalent of a pimple on an elephants arse compared to probably half their team under Saban receiving hundreds or thousands of dollars in illegal benefits

It's funny, bammers are still crying about Phil turning in their cheating asses( he wasn't the only one to turn them in btw), and then bama turns in LSU for some bullshite.

There's just one problem with White's Bama takedown. According to Rivals he didn't have an offer from Alabama. Of course, Rivals is not infallible when it comes to recruiting offers, so maybe White did have an offer from the Tide. If so, the current Edmonton Eskimos quarterback made an intriguing decision if he gave up a Corvette and the home state school to go to West Virginia for four years.
Has that decision ever been made before by anyone for any reason?

Bama fans and the deflection

It seems to be something taught at birth and added to the cult handbook.

Bama goes down and the NCAA would have to shut the whole sports program down, in every sport. Then the Sec offices too.

jesus frick, dude, if you don't know just don't post.

I guess the answer is that nothing ever came of the Yahoo story on Alabama violations.

Don't pick on auburnphan. Like most AU fans, he only knows how to repeat what his ITAT trailer park buddies tell him.

Clay Travis is also one of the main people who claimed half of bammers football team should be ineligible as a result of t-town men's wear. Of course, I am sure you will now tell me that Clay Travis' opinion magically doesn't matter any more.

God knows every bammer hick on planet earth would still believe Pat White's story if it involved any school but your own despite anything Clay Travis says about it

Two sources with knowledge of the case from the schools’ side said the NCAA does not appear to be investigating the case at this time. “Nobody will talk to them and they can’t find Luther,” said a high-ranking source from one of those three schools.

A kid selling drugs is a criminal matter, not one for the NCAA. I can only assume he's in jail or back home in Georgia.
