With all these sanctions being handled out in basketball, and bama apparently turning LSU in in a catch 22 situation on Womack what did the NCAA just decide not to investigate this at all, or it is part of some ten year investigation, has Bama been cleared what ever happened with all this?

Just in case you forgot.

LINK

Did ya'll get a pass on this or letter saying the investigation is over, etc? I am not just stirring shite up on this but I have heard it is an open investigation and I also have heard it is closed.

These decade long deals are kinda scary. I assume that they will wait for Satan to retire and then come in and hammer you being the chicken shite bastards that they are known to be. Maybe we will be rid of the NCAA by then.

And BTW tell your West Monroe booster club to quit buying cars for players families in North Louisiana, or there is about to be a serious Duck attack.

LSU turned LSU in.

And LSU received sanctions from the SEC not the NCAA.

But please don't let facts get in the way of your troll job.

Well the allegations there are worse than Syracuse just got hammered on as far as money is concerned. Just wondering if we are dealing with typical NCAA double standard.

LSU turned LSU in because it heard they were being turned in by Bama or State so as to get lesser penalty. SEC is following NCAA rules.

From what I understand, LSU believed they would be turned in by an outside party so they didn't want to risk anything and turned themselves in hoping to soften the blow.

link? that is quite the assumption, especially considering the history of the LSU compliance department, and their willingness to blow their own whistle.

Patton, you would know.

Is that shite over or not? I didn't even realize that they even did 10 year investigations. That was in 2013. Seems like it would be over to me.

not to put actual facts into this terrible thread but i'll go ahead anyway.

“We signed a guy who committed to us, to come to us,” Miles said. “Then he decided, really in his home, that he was thinking about not taking the English course that was going to allow him to come early to LSU. At that point in time, we went back to our compliance officers and they said ‘Cease and desist on recruiting him.’ So we couldn’t even call or recruit the guy. So he went to another school, which is punishment enough. Anyway ... I didn’t quite know how to handle it any differently than we did.”

I haven't a clue if it's over or not. Doesn't really matter. We won't get in trouble anyway.

What are you arguing? Nobody is arguing that based on the rules that LSU committed a violation. All that is being said is that yes, LSU turned themselves in, but people "around the program" have said that happened after they were led to believe they would be turned in by an outside party.
