No. No way. Never. Nunca. Nadia. Nyet. The other 13 institutions are not going to be punished because a bunch one guy is on a hunger strike and a collection of football players and coaches refuse to go to work because of it.
That's exactly what will happen.

But what about his boat? He's got stereotypical movie stuff to do like fixing an old boat and doesn't have time for a once in a lifetime experience, ya know.

Heard he has been sending time traveling letters to pinkel in the mail though.

Would love this but seeing he can only say "I don't know" and "woah" he might have a hard time communicating the plays. He could get the snap down seeing they use a clap for that.

f Mizzou has fifty players willing to play ... then let'em play. The NFL has proven that you only need 45.
Your traveling squad is only sixty even without the pussy yankee thug boycott.
ESPN is a Yankee activist network ... so they'll love covering everything the mizzourites do.
The other power 5 conferences are laughing at us ... this pox we've brought upon ourselves by admitting the mizzourites into the conference. First the gay thing, now this. What next.
The only thing that could hurt this conference is what could come from within .... and we did it to ourselves. We stuck our greedy little peckers in the wrong STD infected cooter (the yankee state of Missouri as a whole - for a TV footprint) and now we're suffering the embarrassment of the Mizzou herpes they've given us.. it is what it is. Let's just hope they've not given us syphilus or something worse that'll make our dicks fall off.

I don't know the whole backstory of this mess but I'm hearing that Pinkel is in support for the "striking" players. Am I wrong in thinking that this whole mess will be a "death" blow to this program? Could this sink the Mizzou program for years to come?

Pinked should be fired tmw. Promote someone to be the HC. If the players don't want to play that's fine. Go out and get enough men to field a team to get through the rest of the year.

Yes. This is going to hurt us. Bad.
Without cleaning house in coaching, we'll be lucky to sign two stars and spend the next seven years in Vandy hell.

I don't know the answer to these questions, but the fact that they even have to be asked means Mizzou should be booted from the SEC, immediately. Not even UT has ever embarrassed us this badly.
You're right.

Sad thing is, a lot of people aren't embarrassed by that.

Sad thing is there are idiots that will think one has something in common with the other.

Embarrassment over race relations? This type stuff exists at every school. Are some of you literally trying to argue Mizzou is embarrassing the SEC? A league is which NINE of you didn't integrate your football teams until 1970. What a joke.

Your state had laws on the books in the 70's that still allowed the justifiable murder of religious people you didn't agree with.

Come on guys, the posts before yours were references to the movie The Replacements. How do you not know this legendary piece of film?

Those are good questions. I would really like to hear from the Missouri folks on how concerned they are for the future of the program.
What happens if the basketball team decides to back the football players?
If the President is forced to resign, does this set up as the beginning of these protests for pay for play across the country? What happens if all NCAA players decide to boycott until they are allowed to receive a salary?
I see the actions at Missouri as something that will blow up the NCAA and collegiate sports as we currently know.

1970 was 45 years ago dumbass. We grew together, made all of ourselves better. Learned to love and respect and live peacefully with one another.
While y'all have remained perpetually fricked up ... obviously.
All schools deal with racial issues and entitled millennial fricktard brats.
The rest of us just handle it differently. We don't allow the incurables to be in charge of the insane asylum.
Mizzou ... get your shite together.

the hate is strong in you man. I haven't seen anything substantially bad enough to warrant this boycott. sure, some accusations of racial slurs but damn, blacks throw racial slurs out at whites all the time.
I think it's a lot more basic. the leaders of this are probably pretty persuasive and when they stopped the parade the president pissed them off. so now they want him fired and want to dictate several other things to the university.
imo, the only way to deal with this is to meet with the group and work out a compromise. my understanding is that the meeting took place and this group refuses to compromise and insists on the university fire the pres and adopting racially biased hiring practices, ie hire a bunch of black people BECAUSE they are black.
the university needs to not cave in and just ride it out. use walk ons if they have to. revoke the schollies of those that do not come back to the team.
