It could

Depends on how many players boycott

Big ones. Could it affect Mizzou being in the SEC

the posts before yours were references to the movie The Replacements. How do you not know this legendary piece of film?

Oh I've seen it, but sadly after the Matrix trilogy these are the only lines I can hear the guy say.

But seriously this is bad for all programs at Mizzou and I hope this doesn't impact the SEC as a whole. I'm surprised the media hasn't tried to bait the conference office into the situation. This is one of those things that no matter what "side" you take everyone will lose in the end.

How do you avoid bringing politics into a discussion about racial politics?

Because the answers to your questions will be dictated by the racial politics of the act itself.

I don't know the answer to these questions, but the fact that they even have to be asked means Mizzou should be booted from the SEC, immediately.

1. yes
2. no
3. Who knows? I'd be truly surprised if this doesn't bury our program for a long time.

You've asked a political question and want a non-political response? Then you want to throw bricks when someone give a legitimate response?

How did you expect this thread to go?

This has been a hotly debated topic all day and now you want someone to shite skittles out of Sam's arse? Get real.

Is there any precedent in college football history for a players' strike? The only one I'm aware of was the Grambling strike a while back.

Not in the same vein, but what would happen if a team like Duke decide to boycott the next game based upon what happened in their game against Miami? What recourse the university or conference would have against the players?

I have a concern if the President is forced out due to the player's actions, it will have far reaching effects.

Beyond football, I want to see if white high school seniors see what's going on at Mizzou and say "frick that, I'm going to Purdue."

What I'm wondering too.
I know for a fact, I would NOT consider Mizzou(at least not at this point), if I'm going to be considered racist, for simply being white. I'm not racist, I hate everyone.

Hang in Mizzou. I don't think it is your fault. I believe outside sources have much to do with this. I will not get too deep into this but with recent events that have happened you happen to be the place to promote an agenda. I have many black friends and am not racist whatsoever but I think what is happening to your university is WRONG. I just think those hammering you from the sec should think how it would feel if it was them because it could be them next.
