A song we've always sung is tradition.
Let me know when LSU intends to give up it's conference.
And it's rivalries.
And being a part of any current discussion focused on records/history in its new conference.
And cutting ties to the places to which its team and fans typically traveled.
And geographic proximity to its conference foes.
And the focus of several of its meaningful traditions.
At that point, the opinions of others will resonate a little more soundly with us.
Sure, it was our choice to make the move.
And we don't regret it.
But you act like we should change who we are in order to make some ornery and bored college kids happy on a message board filled with malcontents.
Not going to happen.

As long as we keep the swaying part, I don't care which team we sing about. But I'm the only Ag I've met who agrees with that.

I think I figured out this creampies REAL issue... He wants US Ags to sing about HIS team, because he is jealous as frick that we have a 100+ year tradition that mentions another team.
It's like that "mean girls" example brought up just a second ago, he needs attention and this thread is a way for the diva to get it.
