i haven't watched one minute of ole miss this year.

where does he rank amongst SEC qbs?

"ish" is the key. He's not close to that good. He's solid, but very inconsistent.

He has ability, but is limited by coaching and play-calling. He knows how to spin the ball but I don’t think he will ever reach his true potential. I would take him over a ton of SEC quarterbacks.

Patterson is hardly elite, but he's the kind of QB that prompts LSU fans to think, "If only we had a QB like Patterson instead of [insert name here]."

Most years we say this about at least 45 other schools' QBs. Doesn't mean he's that good.

I think he is pretty good. He is in a pretty rough spot and still shows potential.

If he has time against a mediocre defense, he's a good QB. If a defensive player is within 3 yards of him, he plays like a cripple.

He played like a waterhead against Alabama.
