Bamas coach, who hasn’t coached a game in the SEC #1, Floridas coach ahead of 2 time national champion Smart, LSUs coach not in the top 5.

Yep, this is a Bama fans thread.

You can point to games where this statement would be true of Saban as well.

If Deboer is successful, he's gonna have to replace those staffers he's worked with prior to D1 ball. Is DeBoer a genius or are those guys the geniuses??

Making new hires is the biggest test of a coach's staying power imo.

Do you honestly believe Kirby is as smart as Saban?

Would not have a clue which one is smarter...I never mentioned intelligence, I mentioned Smarts first 7 years and Sabans.

The man just beat Texas in a national semifinal at the highest level of college football after going undefeated in the regular season. He was one of two men left standing at the culmination of the season, while Heupel, Kirby and Saban were sent home.

He coached against 1 team with a pulse prior to the CFP...and that one team with a pulse would lose 3-4 games playing a SEC schedule.

Oregon was ranked higher than Texas or BAMA in the playoff polls until their loss to Washington in their CCG. Coach DeBoer 3, Dan Lanning 0. Coach DeBoer 2, Sark 0.

Meanwhile, Georgia scheduled no one with a pulse in 2023 and still failed to come out of the SEC. I blame it on the BAMA Pulse.

What a rarely heard comment. I'm sure such a creative mind would offer nothing less than a great conversation and logical debate

No reason to. Your schedule was just that bad. I mean historically bad. Snidley Whiplash bad. Even Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer bad. You know, bad.

He was a head coach at the same NAIA school for five years.

NAIA is intramural that travels. Not a lower division, not the same with less of a budget. It’s rec league in college. Club sports participate at the NAIA level. They are self fund or go school council to ask for funds.

His teams had a faculty sponsor that was on the staff so it could use the institutions facilities.

That’s the overwhelming majority of Deboer’s resume.

So...are you saying that DeBoer is a better coach than Saban and Kirby Smart? Because that is what it appears you are saying.

Because higher ranked teams are really better than lower ranked teams? I'm confused. Was Washington good or not? Did Washington get willed over Alabama because they had a superior coach? I mean, I realize that they didn't play, but you did say that Washington being ranked higher proves something. What does it prove?

Thank goodness for that OLineman jumping off sides and that fumble on the 11 yard line I guess? What the heck is a Bama Pulse?

Georgia ended up with the #27th ranked schedule. Not great...but historically bad? Out of 130 teams?

Your credibility is taking a dip, bud.

Snidley Whiplash bad. Even Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer bad. You know, bad.

But not nearly as bad as your take.

I suppose he was favored to win the last three games he lost. Alabama in 2023 & 2021 and Florida in 2020 though I wouldn't call three upsets in four years regular
