I kind of see your point. The Mannings have always been douches.

Eli is the only douche of the family.

Neither the Mannings or JFF are seeking attention. Attention comes to them naturally.
We are obsessing over a college kid having a good time during the summer. Perhaps we should log off and have a good time. It is summertime.

MaroonNation I would be pissed at the Mannings too if Eli buttfricked the greatest coach in the history of my program and forced him to retire.

Look 2 points:
1. Archie knew this would be a big story.
2. It could have been handled differently
These 2 points can coexist with you hating JFF and him being whatever kind of terrible monster you want. Answering yes to both questions doesn't change that JFF is a ___________ in your opinion.
I think the answer to both questions is yes. (in fact its clear the answer to both is yes).
Is there anyone in the Mob willing to answer this

That's right the Forward Together foundation is the new REC and wanted to smear the unsullied name of JFF.

Unless he learns to control himself, he will be just a shooting star.

Why should Archie handle it differently? Because Johnny Manziel is above rules?

You really need to step away from the ledge. JFF is going to get shite on a message board. You need to bow up and not let it get to you.
You are really reaching with your new spin and you just need to accept JFF chose bad behavior over responsibility. They have a great business based off the Manning name. If you think JFF has more juice than Peyton you really are far off into the weeds.
Go open a cold one, turn on your DVD to watch last years season and fill up a jar. You have gone off the reservation.
eta: You're a fricking fool.

WTF are you not understanding here?
No one is calling for JF to be thrown in jail, but Manning handled it exactly how he should have. You seem to think Archie publicly talked shite about him, when he actually tried to cover for him while not putting up with it. Archie could give two shits about it becoming a story, and seems to wish it didn't.
The camp is about teaching kids, and JM set a bad example. Manning could have handled it a LOT worse.

Manziels dad said his son is not "football ready" at this time.
Read between the lines.

Agreed.
Can't have bad influences around those kids. Surprised that manziel was even invited..

No one cares what you think. Last I saw it was called the Manning Passing Academy. Not the Whiskey Bent Passing Academy. If Archie felt it was be necessary for him to leave, then it is his call. His Academy and his rules.

I've met them all and none of them seem like douches. Peyton loves to talk. Archie and Eli are awkward as hell though.

You think Archie gives a frick about a kid who doesn't give a frick about anything re: Archie's camp?
Get real

This is my last post on this whole subject...if JFF can party like a rockstar in the summer and come out and blow everybody away this fall more power to him and he is just to good...until he proves he can do it under all this media scrutiny then frick him

It takes a homer to think this is on the manning's. you don't think the manning's wanted the current Heisman trophy winner to be at their camp?
ETA: Archie Manning has had 2 sons go #1 overall in the NFL draft. I don't think he need JM for press.
