This wasn't the only reason. He was probably hungover and puking in front of people. Archie was being nice by releasing a statement saying that JFF was sick so he just told him to go on home and get some rest.

I figured the boys around here needed something enjoyable amongst such depressing literature.

I am saying its debatable whether it needed to be handled this way.

A guy that's brought in to be an example for young kids to follow shows up late and hungover to the camp. Yeah Archie was too extreme sending him home.

Yeah, quarterbacks fall asleep during meetings all the time at manning camp. It wasn't a big deal, and Archie is an attention whore.

Just seeing the two in the same sentence makes me

How anyone can call him an attention whore is beyond me.

Lets just make it this simple.

If you were in charge of this camp for kids and the Heisman winner was late, knowing everyone was at the bar earlier - would YOU have sent him home????

Come On Guys - are yall that riled up about JFF that you can't say sending him home was a little much?

Someone have some balls and give a real opinion.

If you have to be sent home from the god damn MANNING ACADEMY, then something's wrong.

I could see one of the participating 13 year olds being sent home but a college student Heisman winner who is supposed to be an example to the kids? Rolf

I think Archie handled it correctly and at the same time he inadvertently rustled your jimmy out of the jizz jar.

Good Lord, he's a kid in college having a good time. No big deal. He'll be ready to play.

And, yes! Her boobs are magical.

I don't really think anyone needs to. Archie has more credibility in his pinky toe than Manziel could hope to have in 2 lifetimes. Just facts.

The only real question raised by this thread is this:

Is WhiskeyBent one of the worst posters on the board or is WhiskeyBent THE worst poster on this board?

You are just awful. Absolutely awful.

Archie Manning needing press? :rotflmao:

Listen. On the off chance you arent a troll alter- I dont think archie gives two shits about media and press. Even if he does care he is one of the biggest legends in SEC history, then played for the saints his entire career, set up roots in New Orleans, has a restaurant in NO, and on and on and on. He is one of the most recognizable people in the gulf south. Manziel showing up hung over was the last straw. The mannings may be cocky as hell in private (I honestly dont know) but they are the epitome of class and decorum in the public eye. Im sure Archie above all else was trying to teach johnny a lesson. A lesson that obviously went unheeded.

I don't have enough details to opin. On the otherhand there is Archie and Manziel and in that situation anyone siding with Manziel would need to explain themselves. It's not even debatable.

He's one of the worst. However some of his Aggie brethren are worse.
