Opponent Third Down Conversion Percentage

This drove me crazy when Chief was at LSU. A&M leading the SEC West in this statistic is impressive.

I said it because you are trying to convince yourself Aggy has a good defense this year.

Havoc Rate is a team's total tackles for loss, passes defensed, and forced fumbles divided by total plays.

To truly gauge havoc, there should be a way to include the number of times a QB is getting planted as he releases the ball.

To be fair, LSU's Havoc rating is artificially enhanced by playing a JJ-led AU offense.

No fair getting credit for self-inflicted havoc.

You gotta love the dolts on here who think X number of rushing yards equates to X number of points

It's entertaining to watch the Aggys continue to dismiss running the ball because they're terrible at it.

QB hits. I don't know of a site that tracks it in college

LSU has allowed less rushing yards/game, passing yards/game, total yards/game, first downs/game, yards/play, and points/game than aTm in conference play this season.

Oh, we also have way more sacks/game in conference play.

The only major statistical areas that aTm outperforms LSU so far in conference are TFL/game and turnovers forced/game.

So yeah.

Chavis's defense at LSU also led the SEC West in 3rd down conversion percentage.

My mistake then. I must be thinking about the statistic involving the final minute of each half.

Based on yards

I don't care if we give up 900 rushing yards a game. Chavis still allows less points than Steele

The problem with that logic is it only works when you're facing shitty defenses. You have to be able to stop the rush and rush the football against teams like LSU & Bama.
