Our defensive stats tell a lie this year. It's bad and nowhere near as good as last years unit.

Havoc Rate is a team's total tackles for loss, passes defensed, and forced fumbles divided by total plays.

All in all I'm really happy with LSU's defense so far. It feels incredible to actually have a pass rush again.


Given LSU's very thin front 7 situation, Coach Steele and O get an A+ so far
