eh
your front 7 is
your secondary is suspect though. Allen and Murray are both overrated.

The conference has seen a few better just in the last 5 years.

Bama's D is clearly the class of the SECW and its not close.
A&M, Ole Miss, and Miss St look to be the next tier. Clearly imperfect, but still good.
LSU is probably just outside the tier 2 or maybe just the back end of it.
Auburn & Ark are just terrible.

This is what happens when you start a thread about defense right after aTm's got beat up and exposed on national TV.

Proof that stats can lie.

Your front 7 is the best it's been since we have been in the SEC. No one can run the ball on you guys, which in turn allows you to play 2 high safeties against passing teams. Trying to run on y'all is like is basically in football form.

It doesn't help when you have an average to below average runnin back
Tra Carson is not good

Ya think? Florida came into the game leading the SEC in sacks and registered ZERO versus LSU.

The defense gave up 20 points to Bama. 5.6 a play aint great, but its not terrible either. 25% on 3rd downs is excellent. 1 forced turned isn't great, but at least its not 0.
A&M's defense played just fine. Chavis has turned that side of the ball into a positive after being one of the worst in football.

True, but also consider that Arky only had 44 yards rushing and their OL is damn good at run blocking.

He's limited. He can play a great role (power back that can catch a pass), but isn't a feature back.
