The only time Les Miles was seen with a play calling sheet this year was against USCe.

I don't think it's necessary to have a play sheet when you only have 3 plays.

makes it pretty handy when the playbook fits on an index card.

Nope. How about you just tell me and save me the trouble of finding out myself?

LSU was devasted by injuries/players leaving during season and still managed 10 wins.

It was actually probably one of Miles best job keeping the team together to achieve double digit wins.

Yep.

If you think ANY 10-2 team sucks you must go through some terribly dissapointing football seasons.

Two TDs to the gators and held the bama "O" in check for 29 minutes in the first half and 29 minutes in the second half. I can see why you think the LSU "D" sucked.

getting Bama at home at night in death valley where they never lose. Well they did lose, give them credit for fighting hard to get back in the game after Bama dominated the 1st half 14-3, the extra week to prep and fresh legs got them ahead late but as a champion. Usually does. BAMA found a way to make the plays when it counted most

Well said.

Before the season started, yea we were thinking we had a good chance. But at least Hog fans are admitting that we sucked, something tardfans (LSU fans) aren't admitting. Wasn't this LSU team supposed to be the greatest LSU team ever?

Are you seriously trying to say we sucked this year? Are you serious? 10-2, with the 2 losses against the future #1 and #2 teams, both extremely close games. We will finish in the top 5.

shite, man, we suck.

Our losses weren't as bad though.

they happened to be in the 2 areas we were ridiculously deep, RB and WR. I will say losing fowler was a massive blow to how we wanted to play on offense this season. all things he could do would have brought yet another dimension to an already very good offense

Preseason expectations? Absolutely not. It was BCSNC or bust for most people. However, after all the injuries/suspensions that LSU had to deal with I would say winning 10 games is about what should have been expected for a good season. So you're right.

Contending for the national championship is the highest realistic expectation one can have. LSU did, and did so despite a rash of injuries and suspensions.

I'm ignoring the championship-or-bust crowd because that's a completely unrealistic expectation for a year with an unproven QB.
